PLAY GROUPS
As toddlers master the skill of walking independently, they became more exploratory. Filled with a sense of autonomy and the need to do everything on their own, learning takes new heights. Children at 2 years will begin to sort objects by colour and shape and find hidden objective. Make believe play begins as children a imitate olden children and significant elders. Vivekananda Play School provides children with an array of individual, small and large group activities. They are given opportunities to explore experiment and express independently. Lot of activities for gross and find mote development prepare children for readiness skill required for nursery. NURSERY Age 2.6 to 3.6yrs As children enter nursery they begin to prepare for future writing. They begin holding the pencil in writing position and practice making vertical, horizontal and circular strokes.They are able to use 4-5 word sentences and effectively communicate their need and feeling. Play becomes an avenue for social development as they learn to share and take turns. School readiness activities including pre-reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem soling became the core areas of the curriculum.The exploration of early learning continues in areas of dramatic play, science and art. Emphasis is placed on co-operative playas children explore opportunity for socially appropriate behavior.
KG.JUNIOR Age 3.6 to 4.6Yrs By the time children reach kindergarten most show significant gross motor mastery. Children are able to hop, balance on one foot and pedal their way on tricycle. They master basic grammar rules are able to communicate clearly. So also begin telling stories. They begin to understand the concept of time and spend a lot of time including in fantasy play. Further more Vivekananda Play School measure each child's development in thrice yearly written milestone and regular parent - teacher interaction.
KG. Senior Age 4.6 to 5.6Yrs In Sr. KG, they learn how to cooperate with other children, negotiate solution are interested in new experience. They also became more independent and are able to dress themselves. Each day in of KG classroom educational activities are offered in areas of Language, Number, GK, Music and art in our center's.
